CRUMPETS ON LINEN

Desire to behold
beauty and perfection
laid gently on embroidered linen

Pink on white rosebuds
adorn the edges in silken thread
A designer without a sketch pad
but eyes that possess imagination

The crumbs that fall
fall in a pattern not to be wasted
As heavenly aromatic apples
melt with buttery smoothness

Fulfilling the palates of friends
While laughter
breaks the moment of silence
with highest compliments

THROW A KISS

I have come from far away
to do her command
Playful winds carried me
with great reluctance
So I can place this gift
on your warm lips
Goodnight my King, Goodnight

This poem I wrote June 2006 and Published the same year in December. Twice receiving a "Editors Choice Award".
